Houses in Newton is a new boutique development consisting of three new terrace houses. All of which are four-storeys with car parking and a roof-top terrace.
The new building references the site’s industrial past and surrounding built structures through the honesty of materiality, variable transparency and ‘industrial’ materials.
The horizontal banded brickwork details are a direct reference to the datums of its early 1900s neighbour and the galvanised steel rooftop pavilions hark back to the factories of the surrounding context.
